, Kristin Voit, and Jen Galgano , I humbly share with you what I am calling, Starshine Salutation.

I almost have no right to create it, expect that I have.

I find that most of life is showing up, getting out of your own way, and saying yes to a calling to do something that doesn’t seem possible. And then doing it anyway.

Starshine Salutation comes from what I feel to be the calling of our time—

to open our hearts, again, to all that life holds,

to love ourselves in our many forms

to hold our ground when all seems lost

to stop hurting ourselves and others

to come home to ourselves

to heal ourselves

to remember that we are all made of star stuff

that we are all part of creation

and that we have been through the end of time more than once

and we will make it though—

I created the Starshine Salutation yoga poetry sequence because yoga and poetry are the two things that have brought me such solace and connection throughout my life. And it somehow works in brining mind/body/spirit into one place of harmony and wonder.

Even if just for 12 minutes, try it, and please let me know what you think.

Bucks County Yoga Festival - 5/18
