"wings? What if today, right here, when I stretched
and breathed into my body, there was no fog,
no glare, no myth claiming that it was too late..."
Oh I so loved this Corie! I have often thought about how a yoga class for some is a sort of wiping the slate clean, and these little transitional movements we do (like windshield wiper) really embody that. yes!
Absolutely beautiful. One of my favorites and so in sync with my daily practice which inspires all my writing and also my new Q&A project, Bare HEARTS. Thank you for your work. It always makes me feel more of what I am already feeling and so connected with you. xo
What a gift it is to find these wonderful poems of yours showing up in my inbox. You capture the simple depth and beauty of the practice. Just right. So nice. Thank you.
Thank you so much. My first draft I recorded and played while I practiced this sweet movement... and then immediately started a new version. It takes patience and really showing up to the page like I do the mat.
Well, you've done it again, Corie. You've brought beauty, honesty, and attention to what might otherwise just be overlooked as a transition or - even worse - a stretch! 🧡
I love the windshield wiper pose after bridge pose! So refreshing and cracks a whole load of stress out the hips 😆
Thank you! That is a great flow to go from Bridge to Windshield Wiper... https://coriefeiner.substack.com/p/bridge-pose
I ❤️that you used a shot of Janine Agoglia 🧘♀️
She is amazing and makes almost all of the instructional videos for my posts!

Thank you so much! I agree with you as far as the idea of a yoga practice helping wipe the slate clean!
Wow, Corie...so much to say here, and so many tears to clear. Thank you.
Thank you. Yes. There will be more tears... as we are in embodied form, but to wipe away the old ones... such relief.
