Your voice just calms me!! 💗 Also your poem gave me a revelation tonight. I so often feel like I need to show up to my family and friends with the flowers, the rice, the water… something helpful. And it’s so exhausting, Corie! But your poem revealed to me that I can show up as my ragged self with my old bones and toys because, like the old pup, I’m worthy without those “helpful” conditions.
