I read this on a rainy day and put it aside. But then, when the sun came out and I was out walking, I found myself in star pose remembering this poem.

I love the thought that I am the wish in someone else's sky. I will read your poem to one of my yoga students this afternoon who needs to hear this poem.

I just shared with a dear friend of mine whose favorite pose is Star! And, I agree with the above… I too feel honored and humbled that you shared more of the Star stuff that’s made you YOU over the years. It’s when we stop running away from ourselves, but instead fully embrace every spark and every quirk, that’s when the magic happens!

I am so glad you are sharing the poem. It is also one of my favorite poses. I spent man-years wanting to "run away from home" and now I realize that running away from the home of yourself... is one of the biggest sources of heartache. It is time to come home:) Love you!

Oh my goodness! Corie! This is beautiful, and I feel so endeared to you getting to hear a little bit more of your story. Thank you for loving yourself. Somehow that can still seem like a radical act. And you’re helping others love themselves, too. You rock!
