This was back in 2020 when I was unsure what to think, what to do. But I knew one thing, I needed to get stronger. To take care of my family. To find a new way to take care of myself, my body, my mind.
I always liked yoga.
I went to a class here and there, but nothing regular. I was on a poet educator income for most of my adult life. Then I had kids. I took them to children’s yoga and back then, before Youtube, all I had was DVD’s of the same old routine and that wore itself out pretty fast.
When my closest friend recommended Yoga with Adriene, I decided to give it a try. I needed something.
