Time Traveling to Heal My Perception of My Thighs
a poem written about learning to love my thighs + how mental time travel works
Somewhere along the line some of us learned to disown parts of ourselves.
Certain feelings, certain thoughts, or certain body parts.
And this coming year I encourage you to spend some quality time with your thoughts, observe your habitual patterns, reactions, and words, and be open to learning about your mental blind spots and any self-limiting beliefs.
And then steer the ship of your life towards where you want to go.
Love yourself enough that you feel worthy of living in a place of possibility. Yes, I truly believe we can make peace with our past, and envision and create a future we want to live in, inhabit, embody.
