Hello yogis, poets, and seekers of inspiration!
Today, I invite you to be a peacock.

At a certain age, many of us are taught to stop pretending we are dogs or cats or goats or whatever other animal we want to embody. Things get serious, then too serious, and we forget to play.
So today, how about we spend a bit of time chirping with a bird or scampering with a squirrel or scrunching up our noses like a rabbit?

Feathered Peacock Pose
I have been practicing Feathered Peacock Pose for about 60 seconds a day right after my regular at-home yoga practice. Every day I make it just a little further and can now take flight for a moment or two. Afterwards, when I sit and stretch out before moving onto the rest of my day, I acknowledge my progress and remind myself to just keep going.
