Thank you
, and so many others kind folks for tuning into my International Day of Yoga celebration held live on Substack with and !I was on my way to New York City for a memorial for my step-father in law and had the intention of hosting my Live there. However, the universe had different plans. We got caught in two hours of traffic and as 2 pm started to come close, we saw that even as we inched our way nearer and nearer to the city, the traffic delay on GPS stayed the same.
Luckily, I saw a park, pulled over and even though it was a bit distracting at first, I could not have imagined a better place to hold my Live. I was near a community garden, under the shade of a tree, with my mat on the grass… so a harvester ant bit me as I set up. Nature is nature after all.
If you came to this celebration where I read my yoga poems,
led a short yoga practice and played her beautiful heart harmonizing bowls, thank you! If you weren’t able to make it, I hope this recording serves you well. And as someone chatted during the Live, “Be excellent to each other,” and remember no matter what is happening in the world, the journey of our time is the journey within, the calling of our time is the calling of heart, and we must amplify love over fear and create the world we want to live in.
If you have any questions, comments, or feedback, please DM or write a comment below. I love to connect with you all and always answer.
Stay inspired,
Corie
