A Poem for Winter Toes
For anyone else whose feet and toes are dry this winter
In last week’s Bodylove Poetry Workshop, we wrote about our feet. Yes, our feet. Sometimes it takes looking at one of your body parts and contemplating it in order to go within and explore the history of who you call yourself.
This poem is what came when my pen started writing on the page. It was like my inner best friend came over with some moisturizing cream and said, Time for some self-care, babe.
After you read this poem, maybe you can take a peek at your feet or your toes and ask yourself… how have these dear appendages held me up? And maybe you can write a little something, too.
