A Poem for Reverse Triangle Pose
a yogic poem to bring you home to wholeness, especially if you are feeling a little shaky today
Do you know that feeling of trying to hold it together through uncertainty and fear?
Sometimes it can live in your lungs quivering with tight shallow breaths and sometimes it can live in your heart — clenched into a fist of rapid beats.
And sometimes it can live in your limbs when you are practicing yoga and ask your body to go to a place it has not gone before — and it can shake and shutter as you flounder, fall or fly.
This week I chose to share my poem, “Reverse Triangle Pose” because it addresses what it would be like to reverse something that is seemingly stable.

I wrote “Reverse Triangle” after extensive research for my poem for “Triangle Pose” where I did deep dive into the cosmic sacredness and structural soundness of triangles.
So, to imagine it all… undone… physically, metaphorically, and spiritually left me asking how I would hold it all together when everything I had “known” was flipped?
