Have you ever done a stretch or had a moment when a part of you that had crawled into the shadows so long ago that you forgot it was there - emerged, suddenly, like a streak of sunshine through a canopy of leaves? Or a high-rise? Or whatever it is that blocks the sunshine from your skin?
That was me in Camel Pose this morning.
Stretching my sore back.
Opening the cage of my ribs.
And just being… vulnerable to every ache, pain, and habitual way of being.
